Climate Action Team

Beginning March 7 and each first Tuesday of the month at 7 PM, join like minded people who care about the climate and further our 1) self-care, where we strive to walk the “middle path” – where we avoid depression and apathy as well as the other extreme of zealotry and fanaticism – and work to accept what is, do what we can, and meditate to learn to control our emotional response to the unfolding disaster while we explore and deepen our spiritual connection with the earth and climate and each other; 2) learning, where we share articles and books of interest that improve our understanding of the issues and how to communicate the issues to others; and 3) action steps, where we share what actions we are taking or intending to take, however small, and follow up on our commitments to develop a more sustainable lifestyle.

This will be in person meetings at CSL Tacoma.
