Many know Joel Goldsmith through his more than 30 books but few know the story of his life or his transition from metaphysics to mysticism.  This course will bring together the key events in his life with the core ideas of his teaching. Goldsmith was a major spiritual teacher in the 20th century, and his writings are a true gift to all who study him.  The course will include meditation and some writing as well as lectures.

Taught by: Elsa Bowman

Elsa Bowman holds degrees from Pomona College and Yale University.  Former Head of three independent schools, she has consulted and led workshops throughout the US.  Her writings have appeared in USA Today.  Puget Soundings    and the Christian Science Monitor. various                                                                          newsletters. Her research interests include spiritual and indigenous wisdom traditions, dying consciously, adult development and the arts.  She recently spoke at the Women of Wisdom Conference in Seattle.
